Just angry cleaned the kitchen. I'm so sick of having to take all the dishes out of the dishwasher, scrub them, and then put them back into the dishwasher in an organized manner. I need to have a talk with my roommates about scrubbing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and not overloading the dishwasher. I do not want any more of my dishes being chipped. I do not want to reach into the cupboard and find food encrusted on dishes because they could not take the time to scrub the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

Whiteboard
1. Scrub the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.
2. Do not overload the dishwasher. I do not want my dishes getting chipped. Also, water needs room to get up and clean the dishes, which will not happen when they are on top of each other.
3. When you spill, wipe it up. I do not want crumbs and stickiness on the counter anymore.
4. When you use the stove, wet a paper towel or sponge with white vinegar to clean up the oil, preferably before the stove cools down when it is easier to clean.

I'll probably omit some of the why's on the whiteboard and just stick with the do's, so that I don't get people saying it's not their fault that my dishes are chipped or that I'm making a big deal over nothing. I can just tell them the why's if they ask. I also don't want them to feel like I'm talking down to them. I just want a clean kitchen. I don't care why it wasn't clean before, do it now.

I'm going to try doing the dishes more often now, and I'll leave the trash to my roommates. I'll probably still have to do the dusting, since they don't seem to think that's necessary. But if I could just get a clean kitchen, my life would be a lot easier.
